Kirsten Bailey

As a Portfolio Manager with thirty-two years of experience, Kirsten’s highest priority is providing excellent client service and maintaining high standards for the properties under her care. At Meritus, Kirsten focuses on management of commercial properties as well as select condominium, multifamily, and mixed-use buildings. Joining the Meritus team in 2016, she was instrumental in bringing condominium management engagements to the firm. The experience of responding to, and successfully resolving, almost every conceivable property management challenge allows Kirsten to draw on this wisdom to benefit her clients. Her collaborative approach to management yields great internal relationships and a reliable vendor network.

Kirsten’s career commenced in 1991 as an assistant property manager with Westland Investment Company, ultimately becoming a regional property manager responsible for up to 17 multifamily properties. Later, she was employed by Bristol Equities to manage their portfolio of vintage multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use assets that more than tripled in size during her tenure. Acting as project manager on renovations for many of these vintage buildings, as well as overseeing three condominium conversions, provided invaluable insight into technical aspects of the built environment.

Kirsten holds a bachelor’s degree in English from University of Oregon and an associate’s degree in Business Administration. She has a close professional affiliation with Multifamily Northwest, currently sitting on the Government Affairs committee and having previously served as their board secretary and education chairperson. She spent several years living in Germany and enjoys travelling both internationally and state-side with her family.
