Dennis Mitchell

As President of Meritus Property Group, Dennis Mitchell brings nearly 20 years of multifamily and commercial real estate experience, with a track record of building strong teams, scalable systems, and standout communities across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Before joining Meritus, Dennis served as Senior Vice President at both CloudTen Residential and Sunrise Management. There, he launched and led the expansion of their Pacific Northwest operations—growing the region to over 5,000 units under management and contributing to a western U.S. portfolio nearing 20,000 units. His role eventually expanded to national leadership, where he steered strategic planning, long-term operations, and portfolio growth.

Dennis has also held leadership roles at Home Forward, Guardian Real Estate Services, and Avenue5 Residential, overseeing a wide spectrum of housing—from subsidized and senior housing to luxury lease-ups and market-rate communities. No matter the product type, Dennis is passionate about creating places residents are proud to call home.

He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Western Governors University.

Outside of the office, you’ll likely find Dennis on the golf course or out exploring the Northwest’s trails, neighborhoods, and coffee shops with his family.
